Used sanded scaffold wood is authentic scaffolding timber that has been intensively used on construction sites for an average of two years. During this period, bricks were laid and work was done on the planks, resulting in a unique, weathered appearance with visible signs of use such as discoloration and cement residues.
After selection, the planks undergo a thorough sanding treatment. This makes them smooth and splinter-free while retaining their character and used look. This makes used sanded scaffold wood particularly suitable for interior applications such as furniture, wall cladding, and custom projects.
The wood consists of Central European spruce (Picea), a soft and easily workable type of wood. For outdoor applications, an additional treatment is recommended, as spruce wood is naturally less durable when exposed to moisture for extended periods.
Our planks are carefully sorted, stacked, and pre-dried to ensure stable quality. The standard dimensions are 32 x 200 x 5000 mm, and the ends are equipped with tongue and groove or a batten for easy and secure processing.
