New Scaffold Wood: Budget-Friendly Spruce Boards for Customization and Interiors

New scaffold wood is our budget-friendly product and consists of finely planed spruce boards sourced from the Black Forest in Germany. This region is known for its favorable growth conditions, resulting in wood with a beautiful, even texture.

Since it is freshly cut wood that has not been kiln-dried, it may shrink slightly after processing. This is an important consideration when working with new scaffold wood, especially for custom projects.

Unlike used scaffold wood, these boards do not have tongue and groove or battens. This makes them particularly suitable for applications where you determine the finishing and assembly yourself.

New scaffold wood has a fresh, natural appearance but can easily be treated with a whitewash or greywash stain to create an aged or used look.

The standard dimensions are 30 x 195 x 5000 mm, making these boards suitable for a wide range of applications such as furniture, wall cladding, and other interior projects.
